According to a report by ANI a source said: “The second Test match ends in Chennai on February 17. As of now, 55 players will be available for the IPL 14 auctions after the eight franchises — Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) — released its list of players retained and released.

BCCI and the Emirates Cricket Board signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Hosting Agreement on Saturday to strengthen cricket ties between the two countries, which could make the United Arab Emirates a second choice for India’s local series if the wave of Covid-19 cases. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted the same.
“Together with Emirates Cricket Board Vice President Khalid Al Zarooni, we have signed a MoU and accommodation agreement between @BCCI and @EmiratesCricket to strengthen cricket ties between our countries,” Shah wrote on his Twitter account.
Shah was accompanied by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Treasurer Arun Dhumal.
Although there was no official confirmation, the deal could mean that the 2021 IPL, which is expected to take place over the next six months, could be held again in the United Arab Emirates if the situation does not improve in India.
“There are two main events. England home series for which having it in India is still the first option.
“However, if the COVID workload during January remains the same, I guess it makes sense for BCCI to keep an option B ready, which could be UAE. The next big issue is also IPL 2021, which will start at the end of March. , all ‘starting’ April, ”a senior BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity.
Moved from India due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, the thirteenth edition of the IPL will be held at three locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
Beginning on Saturday with a clash between reigning champions Mumbai Indians and runner-up Chennai Super Kings, the IPL will conclude on November 10.
Dubai will host 24 matches, 20 matches will be hosted by Abu Dhabi while Sharjah will host 12 matches. The dates and locations of the playoff stages will be published later.
