Jason Behrendorff
Born in New South Wales and having grown up in Canberra, Jason Behrendorff made his debut for Western Australia in a one-day match in 2011, bagging a wicket with his very first ball. His breakthrough season came in 2013-14 when he finished the summer as the second-highest wicket-taker in the Marsh Shield with 40 wickets at 22.70. Behrendorff’s 11 wickets in 9 games paved the way for the Scorchers winning the Big Bash League the same summer. In just his second T20I after his debut against India in 2017, he registered incredible figures of 4-21 – dismissing the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey.
