Walsh's injury against Denmark could further weaken England's Women's World Cup roster.

In the Women's World Cup, the key players of all the teams are not able to play due to injury.

The Lionesses suffered another blow when veteran midfielder Keira Walsh was ruled out of their 1-0 win over Denmark with a knee injury.

In this match, Walsh fell down holding her right leg in the 35th minute.

Walsh was carried off the field on a stretcher and later returned to the bench on crutches.

Lauren James said, "It's disappointing to see one of our most valuable players get injured, but we just had to focus on getting the win."

England coach Sarina Wigman said the medical staff had not yet fully assessed Walsh's injury.

Walsh won player of the match honors in the Euro 2022 final as England beat Germany 2–1.

Barcelona signed Walsh from Manchester City for a fee that set a record in women's football.
