NFL suspends Chiefs lineman, Seahawks receiver for six games

The NFL on Friday handed down six-game suspensions to two players.

Seattle Seahawks receiver Dee Eskridge and Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Charles Omenihu have been suspended.

Both these players have been suspended for the first six games of the 2023 season for breaching the league's personal conduct policy.

The Seahawks said in the statement that "we are aware of the situation involving DeEskridge, and have followed league and law enforcement protocols."

Omenihu was arrested on January 23 on suspicion of domestic violence, which led to his suspension.

Omenihu signed a two-year, $16 million contract with Kansas City this offseason.

Both players are allowed to practice and play in the preseason.
