Mike Ivey was selected by the San Diego Padres in 1970 at the age of 17.
Mike Ivy made his Major League debut a year later with San Diego.
Mike Ivy played six games until 1974 before being demoted to the minors.
The Padres paid tribute to Mike Ivey on Monday via a social media post.
The Twitter post said, "We are mourning the passing of former Padre Mike Ivey, who passed away last week at the age of 70."
