Mikael Ymer banned for 18 months by CAS
Swedish tennis player Mikael Ymer has been banned from competition for 18 months.
Mikel Ymer was banned for missing three out-of-competition doping tests in a 12-month period.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport made the decision after partially upholding an appeal by the International Tennis Federation.
Ymer tweeted, "Having already been acquitted once, and wholeheartedly stand by the fact that I do not think a third offense was committed."
Yammer added that "besides that, I find it difficult to understand that he found an 18-month suspension an appropriate punishment."
The charge was initially imposed by the ITF in January 2022 after his third base infringement at a Challenger tournament in France last November.
Yammer acknowledged the failures of his first two bases.
But Pazeer replied that in the third time he had changed the hotel but his agent had not done the necessary update.
Despite the ITF's appeal, CAS imposed a slightly shorter ban of 18 months.
