Lions to place key free agent on PUP list with knee injury

The Detroit Lions will have to wait a little longer to get one of their top free agents on the field.

Lions coach Dan Campbell gave information about this before the start of training camp on Sunday.

Coach Dan Campbell said the Lions would place cornerback Emmanuel Moseley on the physically unable to perform list.

Moseley signed a one-year deal this offseason as part of a revamped Lions secondary.

Last time out, Moseley had torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Campbell said Moseley is not currently with the team due to medical reasons, but did not elaborate.

Campbell said he was forgiven. When he arrives he will start working on the PUP.
