Framber Valdez of the Houston Astros threw his third no-hitter of the season.

Framber Valdez of the Houston Astros threw his third no-hitter of the season on Tuesday.

The Cleveland Guardians won 2-0 at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday night.

It was the fifth Astros no-hitter since the 2019 season.

This was the 16th no heater in Houston Astros team history.

Valdez needed only 93 pitches to accomplish the feat.

Valdez deflected a high chopper hit on throws from Jose Ramirez and Jeremy Peña barely beat Ramirez to first.

It was a huge day for the Astros, who also made a blockbuster trade for future Hall of Fame pitcher Justin Verlander.
