Colombia's 2-0 win over South Korea at World Cup

Cancer survivor Linda Cassedo scored a goal in her very first match at the World Cup.

Linda Cacedo Colombia beat South Korea 2-0 on Tuesday.

Cassido further enhanced his reputation as one of football's rising stars with his goals and performances.

With the help of Cacido, Colombia made a winning start in the tournament.

Cassido's goal came on the end of a darting run from midfield.

Lee Geum-min came close to scoring for the Koreans at the end of the half, but was denied by a flying save from Catalina Perez.

Shim Seo-yeon scored a penalty in the 30th minute after Manuela Venegas's goal-bound attempt was handled in the area.

In this match, Catalina Usme scored from the spot after sending South Korean goalkeeper Yoon Young-geul the wrong way on her shot into the left side of the net.
