BMX racer Garrett Reynolds won a bronze medal at the X Games

With a score of 82.33, popular BMX rider Garrett Reynolds finished third.

Garrett Reynolds finished third in the X Games California BMX street event at the Ventura County Fairgrounds and Events Center on Friday.

Garrett Reynolds won the bronze medal for his 21st X Games medal of his career.

Reynolds just missed setting the all-time record for most X Games gold medals.

Garrett Reynolds remains tied with snowboarding legend Shaun White with 15 golds.

Reynolds earned a score of 82.33 in his first run, before falling in his second and third runs.

Garrett Reynolds explained that "I try to get a solid run and then follow it up. Both of my other runs fall quickly."

Reynolds was third in his last race, but didn't feel the pressure to do anything.
