Australia coach Tony Gustavsson said, "I think the one thing that's happened with this team is that they were very tight and cohesive when this tournament started."

Australia will next face either France or Morocco in Brisbane on Saturday.
Sam Kerr will be in the running to start at the World Cup for the first time, in which he was expected to star.
This is only the second time that Australia has reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup, the previous one being in 2015.
