Fans now have another option to buy tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Fans can claim tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2022 during the first come, first served sale period, which starts on March 23rd at 13:00 and ends on March 29th at 12:00.
As the name suggests, tickets during this period will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. This means that the tickets are purchased as a real-time transaction based on their availability. All successful purchases are immediately confirmed to applicants.
There are four ticket categories. Categories one through three are available to everyone, but category four is only available to residents of Qatar. For online sales, ticket applicants must provide their domestic address of residence in Qatar and their Qatar ID number.
Three types of tickets will be available: single-match tickets, team-specific ticket series and four-stadium ticket series.

This sales period is the second half of sales phase 1. The first half was a random selection sales period that began on January 19th and ended on March 21st. All successful ticket applicants had until Monday to pay for their tickets.
If fans have not paid for their allocated tickets, their ticket application will be cancelled, their tickets will not be allocated and will not be available.
The final draw will take place on April 1st, after which sales phase 2 will take place. When exactly, FIFA has yet to specify.
Like sales phase 1, the sales for phase 2 will be a random draw and a first come, first served sales period.
All fans, both local and international, are required to purchase a Hayya card in order to attend World Cup matches. After purchasing their tickets, all international fans must also confirm their accommodation plans in order to enter Qatar and enter the stadiums.
