North Macedonia football
The North Macedonia national football team (Macedonian: Фудбалска репрезентација на Северна Македонија, romanized: Fudbalska reprezentacija na Severna Makedonija) represents North Macedonia in men’s international football, and is administered by the Football Federation of Macedonia. The team play their home matches at the Toše Proeski Arena in Skopje. There have been many good games of the national team. Victories against Denmark, Croatia, Ireland, Iceland, Scotland, Wales, Norway and Ukraine. The team and the federation have grown through the years and become better during the time. The national team achieved some impressive performances, such as a shock away win against Germany in 2021. On 12 August 2009,in celebration of 100 years of football, friendly match against Spain was held at newly built City Park Arena. European Champions won a tie game 3–2 after being 2 down at the half time. The spectacle was held in front of 30,000 crowd in a festive atmosphere .[3] The biggest success came on November 12th 2020, in the play off against Georgia of 2018–19 UEFA Nations League They qualified by winning 1-0 and reaching the UEFA Euro 2020.
