FIFA World Cup 2018 Draw: FIFA has confirmed the draw for the 2018 World Cup is set to take place in the Kremlin Place in Mascow on Friday, December 1. The date was already known but the choice of venue underlines the significance of the World Cup to the Russian government.
The draw for the 2017 Confederations Cup will take place in Kazan Tennis Academy, the exact location of the draw for the 2018 World Cup final stage is still unknown. In addition, the dates of the workshop for teams participating in the final stage of the World Cup 2018 was also confirmed – February 27-28 in Sochi.
The opening match at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Thursday, June 14, 2018, with the final held at the same stadium on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

The last of the 32 qualifiers will be known after the playoffs by Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017. Russia already participates in the tournament as the host country. The draw for the final stage will determine 8 groups of 4 teams, each of which will hold 3 matches. At the end of the group stage national teams that took first and second places in the group will participate in 1/8 final.
