Australia Tour Of India 2023: BCCI will be hosting Australia for 3 ODI and 4 test match series just after the NZ tour of India, which will be held from Jan 21 to Feb 1 this year. The 4 Test matches will start on Feb 09 in Nagpur (February 9 – February 13), Delhi (February 17 – February 21), Dharamshala (March 1 – March 5) and Ahmedabad (March 9 – March 13). The test series also known as the Border-Gavaskar trophy will also be the part of ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.
India currently holds the Border-Gavaskar Trophy
The Border-Gavaskar trophy is currently held by team India after the 2-1 series win against Australia in 2020-21. The ODI matches will be played in Wankhede stadium (Mumbai) YDCA stadium (Vizag) and MA Chidambaram stadium (Chennai). According to ICC Test ranking Australia and India are currently holding the 1st and 2nd position respectively on the table.
