Australia Cricket Team Squad for Cricket World Cup 2019 has been declared.

Former captain Smith, 29, and Warner, 32, have not played international cricket since their ban following a ball-handling incident in Cape Town in March 2018. Although Australia has played ODI since it ended its prohibition, the duo was absent in India. Premier League
Rapid bowler Josh Hazlewood was not selected in the squad as he continues to work to get back to fitness by recovering a back stress fracture in the series of tests against India in January.
Australia has named two spinners in the squad in Adam Zampa and Nathan Lyon along with a strong-paced arsenal of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Jason Behrendorff, Jhye Richardson and Nathan Coulter-Nile. However, the participation of Starc and Richardson will be subject to physical condition as they recover from the injuries.
Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis make up all the members and Alex Carey is the only one in charge of the window, while Shaun Marsh, Usman Khawaja and Captain Aaron Finch complete the 15.
Khawaja and Finch formed a formidable opening partnership in the absence of Warner, with the latter averaging 112.75 with two half centuries and two tons in the recently concluded five-game series ODI against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Peter Handscomb was omitted despite playing each game in Australia’s two recent series against India and Pakistan, and 26-year-old Ashton Turner has also missed the squad, having made his ODI debut in March.
